snack attack

I have been on this health kick lately. I've strayed away from the booze and fast food, and welcomed healthy foods and running into my life. I feel better than ever and it's been exciting watching my body transform. It's always helpful on the fitness journey to be inspired. Pinterest and fitness magazines are my go-to when I want to devour a juicy cheeseburger and skip the gym. I've also found another motivator. Well, two actually. Karena and Katrina from Tone It Up! They are the cutest, fittest, most motivating duo around when it comes to getting in shape. 

As hard as I try to stay on track, I have my weaknesses. Snacking being one of them. I used to do it when I was bored, had a craving, or was going through a rough time. Now, I only snack in between meals. It's an okay thing as long as it's done in moderation and with the right foods. K and K put together a sweet little video of their favorite, healthy snacks.

Here is what they munch on in between meals:

Dried Bartlett Pears from Trader Joes
Zico Coconut Water
Simply Almond, Cashews, and Cranberries Trail mix from Trader Joes
Spicy Black Bean Dip from Trader Joes
Organic Baked Tofu from Trader Joes
Think Thin Bars
